The foundation of the Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care™ (IWBMC) rests on the scientific concept of neuroplasticity, affirming the brain's capacity for change regardless of age, diagnosis, or functioning level.

Created by the Founder & Executive Director of Jacob's Ladder, Amy O’Dell, in response to the developmental hurdles encountered by her son, Jacob, this trademarked and globally recognized model begins with thorough neurodevelopmental assessments. These assessments inform tailored treatment and educational strategies aimed at fostering brain growth, recovery, and holistic wellness.

Jeremiah's Promise Neurodevelopmental Learning Center is a certified training center in the IWBMC™, and we welcome you to join us in learning more about this unique and transformational care method. We are also a certified training center in the AHAVA Platform. You can learn more about the IWBMC, the AHAVA Platform, and training opportunities below.

We support the goals and desires of each individual, understanding barriers to success and helping to remove them.


Rigorous, comprehensive assessments of each individual’s neurological function focus on revealing strengths and challenge areas to prioritize interventions. Jacob’s Ladder's unique approach includes over 1,000 assessment metrics and a qEEG brain map.


Individualized plans outline prioritized brain-based interventions and guidelines for nutrition, sleep, exercise, and essential outdoor time.

Integrating each plan across all caregivers and settings supports self-regulation and strategies for creating lasting positive change in emotional-behavioral-relational health.

 

Attention to learning styles and social interaction opportunities in individualized plans supports academic success and future independence.

 

Safe social environments with strong interpersonal connections enable the brain to achieve learning and new growth, preventing fight, flight, or freeze trauma responses.

AHAVA is a digital platform that provides access to the science behind our groundbreaking model of care, the Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care™ (IWBMC), on a global scale.

The IWBMC harnesses the extraordinary ability of the brain to heal and develop new capacities at any age. This healing and development can occur despite challenges from various causes – autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, acquired brain injury, genetic syndromes, or neuropsychiatric diagnoses resulting in emotional-behavioral-relational complexities.

Through  AHAVA, trained providers and evaluators have a comprehensive platform to:

  • Evaluate clients

  • Design individualized programs

  • Implement therapeutic interventions

  • Integrate parent communication through the Parent Portal

  • Maintain a Schedule Management System

  • Utilize a customized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

  • Access IWBMC trainings
